2009, clay mould of a part of an old guillotine base<\/span><\/h5>\n

Opposite number 16 of the Rue Croix-Faubin in Paris, five granite stones are set in the ground. They are the old supports of a guillotine gallows used in the 19th century. The print of one of these stones was taken using clay. The dust of the street and its impurities \u201cdrew\u201d on the mould the shape of the granite support. The clay was not cooked so that with the passing of time the mould is allowed to fissure and crack, becoming eventually dust once again.<\/p>\n
